Most of the blankets we send to children are hand made! Our family has several friends and family who help us routinely in making these beautiful blankets! There is a lot of love and hard work that goes into each, individual blanket!
There are several means in which you may take part in this process. Below is a list of materials that we need to make our blankets. There is also an option of donating monetarily, so we can purchase the materials to make the blankets.
All funds/materials received will be used strictly for the making of "Brycen's Blankets".
We do not profit from any monetary/material donations.
Materials Needed Include:
1. Fleece fabric: Can be plain in color, but we prefer prints if possible.
2. Flannel fabric: Child prints.
3. Soft materials: In child prints.
4. Yarn: Various colors and textures.
5. Batting: Both high and low density batting is needed, as the blankets will be sent to states of varying climates.
6. Purchased blankets: Please make sure that purchased blankets are in good condition, child print, and made of a soft fabric.
*Since our blankets are given to children of all ages, fabrics can be donated in any size starting from crib-size and up to twin and full-size.*
